  • You should not even think of going to another country without having arranged your accommodation before your departure from your home country since it is not very appealing to look for a home with all your luggage in your hands.

How to Succeed in AP Courses

AP Advanced Placement

Think APs are tough? Well this is going to help you get through them! AP or Advanced Placement Courses are COLLEGE courses that high school students take in order to finish college early. The coursework is extremely difficult, the tests are rigorous and the pressure to succeed and get college credit for their effort is intense but if you do what I tell you to you will definately overcome these hardships.

  • You must develop your interest in the courses that you are taking. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get a 4 or a 5 in AP’s without having interest in the course. As I said this isn’t high school stuff anymore you’ll have to work HARD especially in difficult courses like calculus and chemistry. If you keep yourself motivated and develop an interest in the course your chances of succeeding will increase significantly.
  • You MUST make notes in class so that you can study from them later YOURSELF. Make a style of writing which works for you and stick to it. Some people understand better from bulleted points while some like paragraphing style. You MUST write FAST. You have to take down the most of what the proffessor says in order to make better notes so the faster you write the better your notes are! I dont mean that you should start writing without making sense! THINK first then write!
  • AP courses are courses which a student of high school can not cover by himself or herself without taking any help. Ask as much questions as you can in class! There must not be ANYTHING that you have not learnt properly! Test taking sure helps but not enough to get you a 5! You have to cover all the course in as much depth as you can.
