Bullying is the act of intentionally causing harm to others. Many students get to face this issue at school everyday. Here are a few tips that will help you control bullying at your school.

1. The best way to stop bullying is “Ignore“. If somebody is trying to mess with you just simply ignore whatever he’s trying to say. Don’t even look at the bully. It will stop him from continuing to bully you.

2. Instead of telling the bully to stop bugging you, simply walk away from him. If you try to engage them in a verbal or physical confrontation they will feel even more powerful. Infact this is exactly what they are always looking for.

3. Inform your teacher or a trusted adult at school. Most of the schools won’t tolerate this kind of behavior. The more students stand up for themselves and tell what is happening, the better the school can deal with the bully and the problem.

4. If there is a group of students that help stop bulling in school, join them. If not then try to approach your school staff and insist them on making one.

5. If you are sick and tired of a bully teasing you then you need to make it clear to the bully that you do not appreciate the way he is treating you. Tell the bully to stop and that it is not okay to treat another person in the manner he is treating you or your friend. Many times, just being assertive to a bully can deter the bully from continuing what he is doing. If this gets bad always use the point # 3 to take care of the situation.

I hope this helps.
